Herbs and spices are synonymous with the key ingredients for cooking especially Malay's foods. Without it, food is less tasty and felt like something missing. Thus, on a small scale garden I started planting some herbs and spices plants that are commonly used as cooking ingredients and as well as traditional medicine . Among them are:
- Ginger (Halia)
- Galangal (Lengkuas)
- Turmeric (Kunyit)
- Ginger Bara (Halia Bara)
- Curry Leaf (Daun Kari)
Attached are some pictures of the herb ans spice plants that I try at home. I will update on my herb and spice plants in the future post. You can see good progress from our ginger (figure 1) and curry leaf (Figure 2) . Hopefully , it will be good progress for others too.
